electrical issue - dduca@comcast.net - 12-09-2021 on my 43 open,I have an issue with some 120 volt outlets do not work when the shore power is in the 120/30 amp supply cord to shore power. When plugged into the 50 amp 220 shore power they work,,,,is that supposed to be like that? RE: electrical issue - jclark003 - 12-10-2021 yes you should have power to all circuits in the AC panel. The 120/30 will provide power to everything in the boat but doesn’t provide enough amps to run everything at the same time. For starters I would check for tripped GFI’s. Also check the panel and see if the breaker for the outlets is not tripped and that the indicator light is lit. RE: electrical issue - Sans Peur - 12-12-2021 Do you have 2 120v shore inputs? If so are you only using one of them? On an old boat I had if I used only one it cut out some of the electrical systems. Once both were connected everything would work. When you are at 50 amp 240 using both legs then you have full power to the boat. I am not an electrician but this is my basic understanding of how it works. We own a 2009 Tiara Sovran . |
