Has anyone lubricated the ram that lifts the floor? Any recommendations Oil based or Silicone?

Is that a hydraulic ram? If so no real need to lubricate. You can apply a light coating of silicon to help combat corrosion but most of it will be wiped off by the seal as it travels in and out of the casing.
