2001 Crusader 7.4 spark arrestors needed - lakesidevu - 01-12-2022 HI I'm in search of 2 spark arrestors for the above motors. These are the black injection molded type with the metal fins that looks like a vacuum attachment for the shop vac The manufacturer is no longer in business which is Barbron in Fairhaven Michigan The part number is molded in the part ,and is #A7320 . Any help would be greatly appreciated. [attachment=964] RE: 2001 Crusader 7.4 spark arrestors needed - Medicone - 01-13-2022 Hey lakesidevu, First, I think you mean flame arrestor, not spark arrestor, right? Second, that doesn't appear to be a Crusader part that you have on your engines. The part and part number appears to be for a Merc or ski-boat-type engine (Google it, you can see pictures - I don't see any pictures of that arrestor on Crusaders and the Merc part manual appears to have that part number). You can find flame arrestors for 7.4 Crusaders on most online parts warehouses. They don't look like what you have on there. Best bet would be to look up the serial numbers on your engine(s) and verify the year and model. Then look up the part in the part manual. 7.4's are carb'd right? It may be that someone put the wrong parts on your engine. Best of luck! -M1 (01-12-2022, 12:40 PM)lakesidevu Wrote: HI I'm in search of 2 spark arrestors for the above motors.
