stateroom cabinets - fftsm688 - 02-08-2022
Looking to add over head cabinets in my 38 open. It is a 2002 with no cabinets above the berth. Anyone add cabinets? How are they mounted? Can have the cabinets built or should they be built in place? Does Tiara sell something like this pre built?

It does seem like a waste of space...the cabinets were a nice add. I think it was either 2003 or 2004 when they started putting them in.
The shape is a compound curve as it tapers towards the bow and flares out from bottom towards top so it would not be trivial to build them and have them look nice. I would guess they're going to have to be custom made and would be very expensive but keep us posted on what you find.
