Top Mount Outriggers on a 38 - hiccup - 02-27-2022 Going to install Taco style top-mount outrigger holders on the hardtop of a 38 Open. Has anyone done this? Any tips and/or pictures to share? RE: Top Mount Outriggers on a 38 - OurHighLife - 11-01-2022 Did you ever do this? How did it go, any issues/problems? Several people have told me that outriggers are really not needed if you use side/wide trackers Your thoughts? RE: Top Mount Outriggers on a 38 - hiccup - 11-02-2022 Have not done this. Plan to do it this offseason. I think the way to do it will be to go through the radar arch, but I do hate the idea of cutting through the painted aluminum. May consider just going through the top away from the arch. I'd love to see examples of what others have done. Personally, I don't think wide trackers remotely compare to outriggers.
