Cleaning seacocks - honest mark - 07-19-2022
Boat was originally in salt water, now Great Lakes, that green discolored salt stain is on my thru hull sea cocks, I used vinegar and baking soda and a steel brush, anyone got a better idea??? Is there sum spray on stuff?? Any tricks??? It’s coming off but so is my arm from rubbing, lol, thanks ???

I have had good success with "Presta AP Deck Cleaner"...... on the decks. I have no idea if it will address thru-hull fittings. I believe this Presta product comes in a small 16-20 ozs spray.....Spec sheet is online at prestaproducts.com

FYI, I used the vinegar and baking soda and it worked great with a wire brush about the size of a toothbrush

A brass wire wheel on a drill will make quick work of them. Small hand brush to get in crevices. I used a can of clear coat after cleaning them up to keep them shiny
