2003 3100 dinghy davit - Mike S 3100 - 07-29-2022 Hi all, I appreciate the admin adding me to the group! I'm a big believer in 'It takes a village'. ![]() I purchased a 3100 and have a need to carry a 9' RIB. This model year has the attached (i.e. not integrated) swim platform. Two questions: 1. Does anyone have experience carrying a dinghy on this model/configuration? 2. If so, can you share pictures and information of your installation? I looked at the Hurley Davit system and wondered if it would be suitable (see attached pics). Obviously, I'm open to ideas. Thanks in advance for your expert guidance! Handles a 10’ RIB and 10hp on the back of my 40’ (with the integrated platform) just fine. I can load/unload pretty easily by myself (I sometimes pull the fuel tank separately). I’m also curious to know if any folks with non-integrated platform have tried to install davits. I would feel a little more comfortable if we had an integrated platform but that concern may be unfounded. |
