Spiders! Spiders! - d5dekeyser - 08-02-2022

I'm located in Michigan, I've been getting some bad spiders lately and I'm wondering what everyone is using to try and keep them away. They are mostly in the cockpit of my 39 Coronet, I haven't seen any in the cabin yet (hopefully). My cockpit is enclosed with isinglass. What do you use on the lines or outside of the boat, and what can you use on the inside (cabin, cockpit, etc.) Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I started using Stay Away Spiders Deterrent Pest Control Scent Pouches - All Natural, Environmentally Friendly, No Messhis year and seem to help out in the helm area and hang one. Around the outside, I mix peppermint oil, vinegar, and water in a spray bottle. Also located in SCS.

I spray my lines w bifenthrin (can be found on Amazon) and works great. Have to sometimes do twice a season.

Easiest thing is Home Defense. I know it's "chemicals to some, but no one is licking the comings.

Home depot and spray all the corner and under comings, line and anywhere you usually see spiders or droppings. Work for 4-6 weeks until it's washed off. really keeps the buggers away
