2900 Coronet Charger Replacement - rjvorhees@gmail.com - 09-21-2022

I have a 2000 29 Coronet with 7.4 MPI Crusaders. My Charles 5000 series 2 bank charger seems to have died. There is good 110v in but no 12v output...fuses have been changed but to no avail.

Why is it only a 2 bank charger when I have 3 batteries?

Any recommendations for a replacement smart charger, amperage, etc? Ideally, I can leverage the existing wires but not sure that will be possible.

Thanks, Russ

I have been really happy with my Sterling Power Pro Charge Ultra Power Factor Corrected Battery Charger: 12 Volt, 30 Amp, 3 bank Marine Battery Charger. Check on what AMP service you have. My boat only has 30 AMP Service. They sell different rated chargers
