New To Me Tiara 36 Open Water System Question - jayacarrion@gmail.com - 10-25-2022

I am sorry if this is a stupid question.  I recently purchased at 2011 Tiara 36 Open and getting ready to winterize it for the first time.  I am trying to get access to the fresh water pump and the hot water heater.

the owners manual does not provide a lot of detail.  The drawings show the pump and water heater on the starboard side bulkhead inside the main cabin.  When I run the hot water pump it sounds like it is behind the wall in the salon.

My question is - am i guessing correctly that I need to take the setae cushion off the bulkhead and remove the wood panel to get at the water pump and hot water heater?

Thanks in advance for any help,

jay

You are correct on my 31 open under the starboard setea is the water heater but the pump may be in the engine compartment against the bulkhead in the same area. Hope that helps.

In my 2010 3600 open, the water heater is behind the salon back rest cushion wall, under the shore power panel. You have to unscrew panel behind your back rest. If you have the Bose system, you’ll need to manhandle that cubby out first.

Fresh water pump is there. Note that you likely have two, one for inside which is located close to the water heater, and your fresh water wash down one in your hatches close to the transom.
