I have had issues with the Nylon hinges on the port lights. When several of mine broke I found that the company that made them is no longer in business.
Derrick in customer service provided me with previous manuafacturer's information on the port.
Part number 5390050 - 6223 VASSEN OPENING PORT W/SCREWS
I was able to have these nylon hinges remade with upgraded material and stainless fasteners and would be able to provide them to any owners that may also need them. Please reach me at email rob@aalltech.com

Rob,
Tiara used those hinges in more than just the 31 Convertible. They should fit several of the older 31 Opens, 31 Convertibles, 33 Opens and even some of the 36 Opens.
