Gaskets, seats and hatch seals/edge guards - mc307tank - 07-15-2023

I wanted to replace several seals/guards on my 88 3100 Open
Windshield was leaking, got with Greg at Tiara got replacement flat and L gasket, did not get enough flat and screwed up the L, ordered more flat and L gasket. The second L gasket was different and fit much better. My final touch is to put a tiny bead of 20 minute caulk on the bottom corner seal seams and let it harden before closing. Light spraying got no leak but direct hard spray leaked a little.

I also cleaned the corner drains as well with a small brush.

I wanted to replace the seat seals and hatch edge guards, no luck with Tiara, got with Uni-Grip and Allyssa and got white guards for the hatches and black for the seats. The white (Part SD-1435 WT) worked awesome. The black was not what I was shooting for and another seal I got would not work for the seats. I just used the black (Part SD-1435) on the seats till I get back with a better sample to Uni-Grip. Allyssa was awesome, she looked at what I wanted, gave me samples to check the fit, then I ordered over the phone, $140 and I picked it up on my way to Lake Erie, they can ship also.

See attached picts, hopefully they attached, the way to put picts on this thread thing is funky

Thanks for sharing (I was able to see the pics).

I am curious as to how your gaskets fit on your hatches.  My gaskets are entirely underneath the corresponding hatch; but yours appear to be right on the edge of the hatch.  Is that how they were originally or are these hatch edge guards an aftermarket improvement?

I am looking to replace all of my gaskets this offseason.  I am in Cleveland area so will definitely reach out to Allyssa and pick some up on the way to Put in Bay!

All the white stuff i got and used goes on the base of the hatch and for the most part you can't see them when closed. I want to put it on both engine hatches but other stuff has come up and my port engine hatch keeps not working even after a new switch was put in.

I am still searching for the correct gasket for the seats
