Trumpet horn replacement - Capt. Tom - 08-13-2023
I need to replace factory installed trumpet horn, which has a compressor. I am thinking of forgoing the compressor and installing a 12 volt horn instead. Any thoughts or opinions?

Make sure you hear how loud the electric horn is.
I have a 2001 31 open and thought the electric horn was bad, so I bought a NOS horn and had it installed ..no diference.
I'm saving up for a kalenberg air horn so that I'm heard and other boater hear me using my horn.
The horn is a #1 safety item.
