2005 Crusader 8.1 Exhaust Elbows - Matta0413 - 09-28-2023
I just made an offer on a 2005 Tiara that has 8.1 Crusaders. I currently have a 2002 Tiara with 8.1's so I am familiar with the engines. When looking around the 2005 I noticed there are some kind of sensors at the top of each exhaust elbow that I do not have on my current 8.1's. Are these temp sensors?

I would imagine so. Do you see any extra temp gauges at the helm? Could just be temp alarms as well if no gauges. I installed temp sensors and gauges on my raw water side to tell me if I lose an impeller right away before the engine overheats. Can always try to chase down the wires too.
