Repowering a Tiara 3100 Open with 2 outboards - drake - 03-20-2024
Hello!
I'm exploring the idea of repowering my Tiara 3100 with two outboard motors.
Maintenance for inboard motors can be very challenging in my area (Central America), so I'm looking for a solution that offers both reliability and ease of upkeep.
I was wondering if this would be feasible and any of you would have gone that route? I'd greatly appreciate any insights based on your experiences, as well as considerations regarding budget. Thank you!

Any progress on this? I have an '89 3100 Open. Thinking of repowering with twin Suzuki 350s?

How would you plan on mounting them?
I find it hard to believe that the transom was designed to support that kind of weight and torque.
