Considering the purchase of a 39 or 44 coupe. Engine room access is a concern - South Sound Steve - 04-24-2024 We are debating the purchase of a coupe design boat and two we considering are the 39 and 44 Tiara. The size of the 39 is perfect for our plans, but I am a bit concerned about the engine room access. When we looked at one I was surprised at how small access to the engine room is. I'm 6'2" and the idea of trying to fit into that little opening was big negative for me. I have not been able to look at a 44 yet. From the photos, the access does seem to be larger. My old Tiara 35 Open had an electric motor that lifted the entire floor for great access. Is the small hatch on the 35 the only way to get into the engine room? When I quizzed the broker he said that was it. Those of you that are 39 coupe owners, does it work for you? Those of you that are 44 owners, what are you thoughts on your model? Many thanks in advance South Sound Steve Tacoma Wa RE: Considering the purchase of a 39 or 44 coupe. Engine room access is a concern - HNS1 - 04-24-2024 I currently own a 2018 44 Coupe. I do miss my Open engine access from my 39 Open but the 44 hatch access is ok for most work!!!! |
