Maxwell windless - lewisduk85@yahoo.com - 08-06-2024

Need some help trying to figure out what kind of stripper I need for my Maxwell windlass.
I have a 1999 37 open and my Maxwell windlass plastic stripper broke. I’m assuming it’s the RC800 series can anybody help?

I have the same windlass and had to do a little maintenance, here is what I bought, it says its for Freedom, but it is what I needed for the RC800

I just got done fixing my maxwell windlass on our 2010 3200 Open, which I believe is original.  It is a maxwell freedom 500.  It would obviously be helpful to know what model windlass you have.  RC800 is a relatively newer one I think.  Anyway, the little plastic stripper piece is readily available and easy to replace, but be careful because there are a million little washers and things to keep track of when you take apart the windlass topside assembly.  Maxwell's manual for mine was pretty helpful.
