Lookingat a 2001 41 Open - deerejon - 11-11-2024
Howdy all been lurking for a while and finally had the chance at a 41 Open. I absolutely love the boat and am ready to close the deal except for one thing...
The blackwater tank has a rotted top and is unserviceable. I am having a hard time getting an estimate for the replacement as that will factor into the purchase price.
Anyone have a ballpark for this item?

It would help to know the year of the boat, and pictures as well. Do you know the manufacturer of the black water tank? If you have the Hull ID Number, usually you can contact Tiara and they can tell you which one was installed on the boat.

Isn't the blackwater tank plastic? I've never seen one rot.

No this one is aluminum, but we were able to cut away the corrosion and repair with new metal. I dont know how to post pics here though,
