42' Open Windscreen Cap - Snapperf16 - 12-31-2024
Hello All, I am a new owner of a 2004 42' Tiara Open with QSM 11s and new to the Tiara forum. I am hoping to find some good support amongst fellow Tiara owners.
Survey went smoothly and I am looking for advice on MX issues that I have. For now I am working on a water leak.
The fiberglass/plastic cap that secures the "C" channel and canvas at the top of the windscreen has come loose. Water leaks through like crazy with waves over the bow and when washing the boat. Specifically; it is the area in the center of the windscreen where the Hard Top is about 4" above the plastic. The whole cap has come loose, any recommendations on how to secure the cap back to the wind shield assembly before I reseal it? I see no fasteners so I'm guessing its just held in place by caulk or glue.
I would appreciate any advice.
