Power issue livewell and oil change pump - smagistro - 04-17-2025 Hi I have no power to the live well the macerator or the oil change pump when the breaker is on for it. Wondering if there are inline fuses or if I should be running a new feed and ground to them. Boat is a 1999. RE: Power issue livewell and oil change pump - Sans Peur - 04-22-2025 There should not be any inline.fuses after the breaker. Find a good ground and check the power at the pumps. I had a couple of pumps go out on me and it was the ground wire. I kept checking the power by attaching into the bad ground wire and of course it didn't show power. I went to the breaker and started tracing from there. Because I had changed to a different ground, I showed power all the way to the pump. That's when I changed the grounding from the pumps and everything worked. Drove me nuts for awhile. Every since then, I start at the breaker and run a long wire from a known good ground to assure I have a good ground. and start checking from there. |
