Charles C-Charger - drifter - 07-08-2025 Is the Charles C-Charger a battery charger or is it as described on their manual a"Marine Electronic Alternator Regulator". I thought a charger and a regulator are not the same. RE: Charles C-Charger - hiccup - 07-08-2025 A charger and regulator are not the same, but Charles very confusingly labeled their alternator regulators 'C-Charger'. They also labeled their battery chargers as 'C-Charger' to add to the confusion. Bottom line is it could be either. RE: Charles C-Charger - drifter - 07-08-2025 It would seem that I have the regulator, however on the AC panel there is a switch "Battery Charger" which I can not locate. Where could it be hiding? RE: Charles C-Charger - drifter - 07-08-2025 2001 3100 open 8.1 engines. RE: Charles C-Charger - drifter - 07-12-2025 The charger is on the inside bulkhead behind the panel behind the lounge seat. It's dead, replaced it with a 15 volt 2 bank seems to be working now. |
