Looking for 4200 Open - CAPT. MARK TOBIAS - 07-12-2025
I own a 97 3700 Open. I’m interested in buying a used 4200 Open
Does anyone know if and when Tiara quit using the engine room hatch where the whole helm deck lifts? I think around 2005-2007.
I have that on my 3700 and I can’t imagine working on those engines without it.

I have looked at several 4200's. I do not recall seeing any rams in the bilges to lift the engine room deck.
There is a nice 42 for sale in Lighthouse Point, FL. Needs a good detail, re-bedding of portlights, floor in master stateroom, and a few other minor repairs. Newish electronics. The 42 for sale in MD (tower boat) to me is a wholesale piece. Needs a bit of TLC. You can buy her cheap however.

What are you wanting for your 3700? Freshwater? Engines, hours? What bed arrangement does it have in the front, walk around?
