Hi…could you please let me know if this model can be outfitted for offshore saltwater florida fishing (rod holders, fish boxes, etc) or is the configuration simply not suited for this use.

Yes, you can certainly fish with this setup....Is it ideal? No, but you will be comfortable....there are tradeoffs on every boat ever made....
