Paul - 04-04-2026 Hi, If you want to repower, nothing really beats the crusader for simplicity and reliability. While new ones are no longer available, parts and good rebuilt engines are plentiful. Not sure about Indmar or PCM engines, but Mercruiser uses salt water to cool the exhaust manifolds. That means instead of just replacing your elbows every 5 or so years, you have to replace the manifolds as well. More work and a lot more dollars.
