89 3100 convertable - kps@dundee.net - 08-06-2026 i just bought this boat. it appears the fresh water tank is in the bow. how do i tell how full it is without taking apart the bed? RE: 89 3100 convertable - gracewilson - 10-27-2026 Congrats on the boat. On many older cruisers the fresh water tank under the bow berth has a sending unit wired to a gauge at the helm or in the cabin panel, so check there before pulling anything apart. If no gauge is fitted, look for a deck fill marked WATER and fill slowly with a jug of known volume to calibrate. Some owners add an ultrasonic or float sensor later. I can't speak to the 3100 specifically, but that's the usual layout. Worth confirming with the previous owner or a manual.
