Upon inspection of the mechanicals before our next trip I noted that the lock nut on the prop shaft exiting the transmission was loose. The V-drives are coupled to 8.1 Crusader engines. I retightened the locking nut, but noted that the primary nut was not tight, but could be adjusted. I searched for the specifications on the prop shaft adjustment/tolerances but could not find any information related to this specific area. Any guidance or information would be appreciated.
