With the boat hooked. To 30 amp shore power and the battery charger switch on, the amp meter on the unit pegs all the way to the right, past 30.
That doesn’t seem right?
Congrats on your new boat! If the charger stays pegged, it could indicate a bad battery in the 'bank' or a bad battery charger. How old are your batteries? I just had a 50 amp Charles Charger go bad on my boat,
