Hi All,
I have recently taken delivery of a 1999 2900 Coronet. I just replaced the exhaust elbows and am ready for some fishing.
I have looked everywhere for the stern light and cannot find it anywhere!!
I have even looked at stern shots of other Coronets and there does not appear to be a stern light.
Anyone know what gives? Tiara can't build a boat without a stern light, or did they?
Regards,
Paul
As long as the boat is under 39.5' (12 meters), which it is, and the mast light is visible for 2 miles for 360 degrees, it's not required to have a sternlight.
Boats under 12 meters(39.4')
Sailboats-Separate or combination red and green sidelights, 112.5°, visible 1 n.m. White stern light, 135°, visible 2 n.m. OR, tri-color masthead light.
Powerboats-Separate or combination red and green sidelights, 112.5°, visible 1 n.m., placed above hull at least 1 meter (3.3') below masthead light. Masthead: white, 225°, visible 2 n.m., at least 1 meter above side lights. White stern light, 135°, visible 2 n.m. OR, one all-round (360°) white light (should also have sidelights).
