I just bought a new 43' Tiara LS. The boat is impressive both in looks and performance. We have a lot of bugs for a new boat. SeaKeeper overheated and failed, lost complete steering after the Skyhook failed. Lost power on one engine and then lost compete power on both engines.
The dealer is working through the punch list. Are these issues normal for a new boat?

These machines are pretty complex and start up bugs are common throughout all manufacturers.
Seakeeper could have been as simple as someone did not "burp" the sea strainer upon initial launch and then pump failed due to air lock. Skyhook is a GPS integrated system and if signal was somehow disrupted could cascade into other shutdowns. Or it could be as simple as a bad ground or loose connection of the installation of the engines and control systems.
Tiara has great customer support and hopefully your dealer is competently working the issues.
