I have a 1986 3600 Continental. I have "discovered" a small array of resistors mounted under the circuit breaker panel, behind the dinette seat back board over the AC unit. These do not appear on any schematics I have. Can anyone tell me what these are for?
I have the same boat, same year. I'll be up over the weekend and check and see if I have the same thing. I do recall reading about resistors being located there. I just can't remember where I read it. I have all of the original documents from my boat and will check them out as well.

Thanks! I have the original owners manual, no mention of them in there. I didn't find them until I removed the dinette seat back under the CB panels. They are under the railing tray with multiple red wires going t/from.
I checked my owners manual last night and didn't see them listed either.

I'll be up on my boat Friday and will check them out. The previous owner of my boat labeled everything with masking tape with writing on it. So if he ever came across them, he may have done so.

I checked on my boat and found the resistors. See picture. I have no idea what these are for and they are not marked. I may trace the wires if I have time to see where they come from / go too.

it looks like resistors and diodes in series.  The resistors all look to be the same size.  My guess is that if you trace them out the are going to led indicator lights and the resisters are lowering the voltage.
That makes alot of sense! Thanks...

Thank for looking and verifying these were not a one off on mine. I will trace the wires as best I can this weekend.

Surely someone at Tiara remembers the purpose of these!
Did anyone ever determine what these were for? There were no LEDs on these boats when they were built.

BUMP -

Traced these to the red indicator lights on the AC control panel. These lights appear to be LEDs. The pink wires go to one leg of each light.
