1995 3600 open Tiara Hardtop - Sasha - 09-28-2019

I am looking to replace the Bimini on my 1995 3600 open with a hard top. Any suggestions other than having a custom top made.

Sasha curious if you talked to Tiara if they still make the hard tops?

RE: Factory Tiara Classic Hardtop - CAPT. MARK TOBIAS - 02-09-2020

Hello Evan,
I am currently ordering a Tiara hardtop from Brian at Tiara for my ‘96 3700 Open. Tired of the canvas and your post motivated me.

May I contact you with additional questions?

Thank you,

Toby

Yes I did Brian Kane was very helpful. Tiara makes the custom tops and if you contact Brian he is a great responder.

Best with new top.

Capt Mark, have a 37 as well, mind saying what the cost is for the hardtop?

RE: Factory Tiara Classic Hardtop - Sasha - 04-02-2020

Capt Mark, I was quoted $15,000 for the top. $1,000 to place in a shipping frame and $4000 for freight. Unfortunately the tooling for the supports is not available anymore and you have to go to a shop and have them fit it for you and make the braces without any drawing from Tiara. Install cost is a function of ho you know in the yard and what your DIY abilities are. The $15k used to include the supports and mounting hardware- it does not anymore.

I was looking at mid to high $20's and had to pass. Unfortunate. Their tops are the best!

Sasha,

Yes, Brian quoted me the same. Brian is extremely helpful.

You’re right, Tiara makes the best so I’m going with them.

A friend just had a custom 3rd party hardtop built somewhere else for his 36’ Tiara for near the same price. After delivery he found it wasn’t even rated for offshore!

Unfortunately, 2 weeks after I ordered it and paid for it, Brian told me the factory is shutting down due to the virus. I guess I’ll just have to wait. Not to worry, I’ve got plenty of projects to keep me busy. Mainly, painting the radar arch!

Good luck!
