Exactly why I want to have them running straight to the AC distribution panel. Why tax the batteries and battery charger if I do not have to? And on my 31 when I ran the battery charger 24/7 the boat ate up more Zincs. When I stopped running the charger my Zinc usage improved dramatically. And why take the chance of forgetting to turn the charger on or the charger dying and having whatever is in the fridge go bad?

My charger is always on. I would look into the zinc thing, thats not normal.
different way of looking at it I guess..

I have a 32 Open. They are DC but I added an AC/DC converter that is sold by Thermolator.
