Rear transmission seal - Gina Bella - 01-30-2017 Does anyone have any info, or a link to send me to, for replacing the rear seal? I have a 3100 open with 454 crusaders. This is the farthest back seal on the trans. Just before the shaft. I'm spraying trans fluid when under power. RE: Rear transmission seal - Uhehner - 01-31-2017 Be sure it's the rear seal that's leaking. The O rings on the shift linkage shaft often fail and you think it's the rear seal. The O ring replacement is a one hour easy job. Capt. george RE: Rear transmission seal - Gina Bella - 01-31-2017 Where is this located? George RE: Rear transmission seal - Gina Bella - 02-02-2017 Thanks George. I'll look at that. Hopefully that's it. If it isn't and it is the seal, do you or anyone else have info on how to? |
