3900 Sovran Headliner in Salon - holiday3900 - 06-26-2017

Does anyone have a recommended repair technique for sagging vinyl headliner in salon? There seems to be wood above, and it looks like velcro was used to hold it, but it comes down especially while underway. In a few spots, I tried sliding in heavy duty velcro, but it doesn't seem to stick to the wood. All of it is in perfect condition, just seems to be "saggy" Thanks.

On our open, I had to basically remove the panels and apply new velcro using both the adhesive on the back as well as reinforce it with a staple gun... I had good luck with the stiff locking velcro instead of the fuzzy stuff... If you need to build it up a little underneath, you can place a piece sticky side to sticky side in the middle.

Thanks Max. I'll take a panel down and try. Didn't want to undo something before I knew how I was replacing it. might try a little gorilla glue on back of adhesive velcro that goes against wood, too. happy boating. t
