Mounting TV in 3100 - rexmobile - 07-11-2017

Hi all - does anyone have experience mounting a flat panel TV in a 3100 cabin, specifically in the space above the electrical switch panel (starboard side, right above aft portion of cabin seating)?

Right now there's just a smoke detector there. I want to mount a 32" tv there, but wanted to understand how to best to mount.

THanks all

There is an earlier thread about mounting a TV in a 3100 Open. You might want to jump on that thread to ask about your specific request.

I actually mounted mine on the bulkhead closet (depending on your models yr, mine is a 98).  I used  a swing are with anchor ties on the bulk head. This allows me to watch in bed or rotate it to watch form the dinette.  There is more than enough structure to support the are and all cable / power was there for the old 12 v TV original to the boat.

It was also easy and clean to route the cables to the arm via small hole and a chrome clam shell vent cover to hide the hole.

Hope this helps!

Good Morning - Nice installation I had a couple of questions. What size tv did you install and any info on the arm.
Thanks
