Main Disconnect Switch - ddfour1 - 07-15-2020
Has anyone had issues with a main disconnect switch going bad? I recently needed to re-set my Raymarine system to get the radar to connect. I turned the house main off (under companionway steps) but the power didn't go off. Did it a few more times and finally got it to cut out. Is this switch something that fails and can be replaced?

Not sure what boat you have but those mains should be exercised every so often. I work mine every month or so when I do my seacocks.
Post a picture of the switch. I am sure it is available online.

I looked really closely on the red key and it appears to be a Hella Marine Battery switch. Looks like I need to disconnect the batteries and remove the entire panel in order to replace the switch. I would post a photo but it appears photo posting on this site has changed and I need to figure out how to do that.
