Painting window frames - p4pjc1 - 05-01-2023 We have a 1981 3100 Hardtop, and the black (aluminum?) frames around the windows on deck (windshield and side windows) have a black paint that bleed black every time a wet wash rag is applied. We would like to repaint. Any advice on brand/type of paint to renew these frames? Any help would be appreciated. RE: Painting window frames - ReelEnjoyment - 05-27-2023 Here is what worked for us We cleaned it up good ,used zinc chromate primer on bare metal . Atlantic Towers painted the hardtop with a awlgrip product that is holding beautifully from the same time as the PPG |
