My name is John. I just found this site a couple days ago...it has a lot of good information. My wife and I have a 2006 36 Sovran with Cummins Diesel engines we keep in Sandusky OH. In the four years we have owned the boat we have taken two trips to the North Channel of Lake Huron and one to Lake Michigan. We are again heading to the North Channel in a couple weeks.
When are you heading up to the channel? We are planning on being up there from August 2(ish) until the 10th or 12th. If you're going to be up there at that time listen for "Lady Sam" on the cruisers net radio show in the mornings and feel free to stop by for a beverage if you're in the area.
