Greetings,
I've been searching everywhere for replacement frames for the bomar hatches in my cockpit hard top. boat is aan '02 3800 express.

The inside of the hatch opening is 21" and the inside of the frame itself is 22(cutout size)"...I cannot find a bomar part that size.  does anyone have a Bomar part number for this item?

I had to chase down spare parts for my 43 open hardtop hatches. Contacted Bomar and found they are N1022 low profile hatches. Not sure if yours are the same so probably worth dropping them an email. They were very helpful. Just requires some measurements and identifying parts. If you still have the serial number sticker they can tell from that as well.

For future reference I did indeed contact Bomar. These hatch rings are NOT available anywhere, even from Bomar...Bomar ran my serial numbers and had to fabricate these Trim rings which seems to be standard practice for them. The rings are $106 each and require a 5-week lead time, though mine were delivered in under 4wks. While the tolerance seems really tight, the rings fit right in with no trimming required. You also have to measure and drill the mounting holes, I would recommend NOT trying to line up holes, fill holes with sealant and redrill.
The part number is listed below, but BOMAR will require you to provide the serial number from your hatch. The 15yr old hatchrings literally fell apart as I removed them.
