For the helm,I need a new engine room lights switch...not just the cover. It has a small square that illuminates white when on. I would like to have the exact same one I have now for an idiot proof install.

Most if not all switches on my 2003 38 Open are from Carling Industries... I've needed several over the years and found using the Carling configuration tool easy. Once you have the part number you can google where to purchase. Worked for me.. Here's the link to the Carling switch configuration tool (use "configure a part" button). Agree, pull the panel from the outside but there is a challenge with that.. After removing the panel screws you need to be very careful in lifting the panel out as the wires are relativity tight/short... 2nd challenge is removing the old switch as the hold-downs for the switch are difficult to release. Good luck

West says this one is discontinued and I can't find the exact one on the other sites suggested. Does anyone have a link or a replacement? The white square is illuminated when it is on.

The picture in your post I don't believe reflects the original switch installed by Tiara when the boat was built. Believe the attached is the original switch and should be the same/similar with all others on the panel. M2C
