spark plug change
#1
Replacing the plugs on my Crusader 6.0 Captain's choice.  (2006 Tiara 2900 Open). They have a little over 300 hours but are the original 2006 factory installed.  Wise to replace due to age?

Yes I bet you see a better performance out of both engines

My Crusader engines have 550 hours with what appeared to be original plugs. I replaced them a week ago. Did not notice any change in performance.

My Tiara 2005 2900 has 550 hours of salt water use when I bought it last month. First thing that I did was replace the elbows and once off I saw fingernail sized pieces of rust in the exit passages. As you may know if a riser rusts through it can let raw water into the cylinders and wreck the engine.

Small price to pay for risers compaired to having to replace motors because of water intrusion. Typically they last four to seven years in salt water depending on use.
