I have a 2005 32ft Express with twin 310hp Volvo Penta diesel engines; as I am very satisfied with Tiaras design I do have one issue.
The raw water seacocks for the engines are very difficult to reach with a very small area to maneuver conventional tools. In an emergency situation almost impossible ! Has anybody ever designed a tool for this or any other solution?? thx Jim

I once had a boat where they drilled a hole in the top of the seacock valve handle, had a 1/4" rod bent 90 degrees at the base and inserted into the hole with a retaining nut. Had a bracket mounted on the stringer with a 1/4" hole that the rod went through to give top support and a tee handle on the top of the rod. Worked great.
I've considered some kind of marker rods for my boat so if my er is flooded I know where to locate all the seacocks. If I can find them I'll get them closed. Be interested to hear of any other owners who have considered or designed something.

On my 29 Coronet, I cut some short sections of PVC pipe to give more leverage to the levers & make them easier to grab. I still have to jam my arm between the exhaust hoses & the edge of the fiberglas, but it helps!

my port trim tab seems to function slower than my starboard side? pretty sure they are electric as I did not see any hydraulic fluid reservoirs in the stern?
