Thanks for all the good content and threads, some of which have been useful already.  My wife and I purchased a 'new to us' 2000 3500 Open Montauk Edition this year.

We're running 'Bird Dog' out of the Chesapeake near Annapolis (South River side).... Fishing at least on the Bay, cruising, and gunk holing while the kids are still at home.  Planning to do some longer cruising as kid activities settle down.

Moved up from an Alura 30' we ran for years.
