We are going to replace the three vanity mirrors on our 2000 3500 Express as the edges are deteriorating.  I had new glass cut to match.  Has anyone done this and any tips for removing the existing mirrors.  I'm guessing there is some kind of adhesive holding them on besides the screw clips.

I removed the mirror at the head of the bed in my 50. It was a PITA and I ended up just using masking tape and breaking it. Drove a scraper behind the glass and pulled. It came off in a bunch of pieces.
Wear gloves and eye protection. Have a shop vac close by, even with the tape little.pieces flew off.
