Tiara Open Cockpit circuit breaker removal.
#1
In the cockpit at the shorepower inlets, there are two circuit breakers. I need to replace the 30 amp breaker. I removed the 4 screws and loosened the "bolt" but the small panel won't pull away. How do I access? Do I have to remove the entire step?

My guess silicon or even 5200 is holding the plate in place after screw removal. Try prying behind the plate w/circuit breaker.. Be careful not to crack the plate or breaker. M2C

Use a paint scraper to work behind the plate ans loosen whatever someone put on it. Make damn sure the power is OFF! If that scraper slips behind and connects to a power wire all hell is gonna break lose.

Thank you, Sans Peur and Captain for your replies. I used a serrated thin steak knife ( thank you, my wife) and a mallet and was able to remove the plate without damage to myself or the vessel though the knife may never be the same again!!
