The helm parallel switch will sound an alarm when my chartplotters are turn off but the DC panel switch to the plotters is toggled to the on position. This happens even when on shore power and battery charger is on, the alarm stops when DC panel switch to the chartplotters is switched off. Also happens when tied up at dock not on shore power (lunch stop, etc), again turn DC panel swicth to electronics off an alarm goes silent.

All batteries were load tested and OK, port and starboard alternators output tested and OK, battery charger OK as well. Why would the alarm go off??
