Hi All,
I will need to replace the elbows on my 1999 2900 Coronet. It has Crusader 7.4 mpi engines.
Should I stick with crusader parts or is Osco or Barr elbows just as good? I know crusader parts are a few dollars more, but wonder if there is any difference in quality?

As a previous owner of a 1997 31 Open w/454's I would stick with Crusader elbows..... Never felt strongly about after market products.....I owned my 31 Open for 10 years and changed the elbows after 8 years and they were OK but not great. A buddy of mine changed his original Crusader elbows after 6-7 years and used Osco as replacements but they only lasted 4 years... He actually took water into the cylinders but luckily caught it before any damage was done. I vote for Crusader parts. M2C

Yikes! I guess I will stick with OEM. I just purchased a 29 coronet. The previous owner had the boat 4 years and there is no evidence that they were changed.
Thanks for your speedy reply,
