I’m considering an autopilot install on my 2000 3500 Open. Given space limitations behind the helm station, I don’t believe a pump would fit there. Has anyone installed an AP on a 3500? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
On my 3600 Open, the pump is at the stern on the starboard side. Pop out the storage unit on that side and the fish well in the center and there is plenty of room to work on it.
