Has anyone mounted outriggers on the radar arch (not hardtop) of a 1996 31 open? Or other ideas to fish offshore.

I mounted them to my 2000 3500 Open, no hardtop just the arch. Hardest part was making sure they were even side to side.

Try some side tracker spreader bars before going with outriggers. Some of my friends swear by them
Only problem with mounting on hardtop is will the fiberglass be crushed

Thanks for your reply, did you mount on top of the radar arch or on the side?

OurHighLife thank you for your reply, I didn't think about the radar arch being hollow, probably need a large backing plate or fill in the hollow section with something, I will look into the track spreader bars, definitely the simplest way to go.

Good looking set up, how is it to walk by them to the bow? (when they are in the up position)
