I have a 2003 3500 open with the optional aft cockpit lounge at the transom (aka jumper seat). From what I can tell the L-shaped hatch cover and the aft seat are interchangeable. Is anyone interested in swapping their L-shaped hatch cover for the lounge seat? I would classify the seat to be in above average condition.
I am actually looking to purchase the molded aft bench for a 2003 era 35 Open. I am not looking to swap though. Although unlikely, if anyone purchased the regular hatch cover and is looking to sell the aft bench, would be interested in purchasing.

Sorry Michaelsk, really want to hang onto the hatch cover just in case the aft bench doesn't work out, otherwise I would just do an even swap with you.
I will keep an eye out for another hatch cover for you while I ask around about the seat.
However, I bet you could get a hatch cover easily manufactured out of starboard, the shape doesn't look very complicated and the overall dimensions are well within a full size starboard sheet. I had a bunch of hatch covers made for my Grady that turned out fantastic (it was VERY reasonable). I would be happy to send pics/dimensions of the hatch cover on the Tiara if you want. I used Marine Plastic Innovations out of West babylon, NY for my starboard projects, they were very reasonable and the product turned out great.
M1 - I really appreciate the offer to send a picture of the hatch cover. I'm just not sure what it looks like as I never happened across one on a 3500. At this point it is looking like I will need to have one manufactured. I really only fish the boat so the seat only adds clutter to the back deck. If you happen across anyone looking to swap in the mean time please do let me know.

I have a 2001 35 Open. I am looking to replace the aft bench seat with the L-shape hatch cover. Has your position changed
on selling/swapping the cover? Are you still looking for the seat?

Hi Walt, I am going to hang on to the aft fish box cover. I would be interested in purchasing an aft seat; however, I don't want to get rid of the fish box cover in case I change my mind and can't replace it. Sorry.
